    Problem with Xvid and Godianknot......

Okay i have a movie i encoded with Gordian knot using the Xvid Codec, it is a 2 cd rip and i set up Gordian knot to split the avi automatically, but here's where it gets interesting, when i load the first file into Gspot it gives a Bitrate of 995kb, Then when i load the second file Gspot gives it a bitrate of 1550kb.....Now how is this possible when they are the same file encoded at 1550kb and then split ........Am I missing something?

If the total filesize is exactly what you told GK to achieve for, then there is no worry. The reason for the differing average bitrate is probably because there are more fast-motion scenes in the second part than there are in the first part, hence the larger amount of bits?

    Regards.
