Ok, since by law of statistics I've become a Platinum Member I thought it time I found out summat about DivX!
In experimenting with the Showshifter DVB beta software I made a boo boo of making a recording before spotting the recording format was ssf. I therefore have a film which shows on the PC only. I'd like to transfer it to DVD for viewing on the standalone (and bigger tv!)
In the Showshifter conversion page there are a number of ssf to Divx routines, single pass and 2-pass. I've tried a couple of these but end up with an avi that will not go into TMPGEnc DVD Author. In addition, when I view these in the Showshifter people end up with blue faces!
I'd really like to transfer this film to DVD. Anyone have any ideas?
