    Trouble With Audio...

Ok, I have these two parts of a movie (and I didn't rip them)

And I want to make a DVD out of them.

But they have this encoding that I don't know much about, and the audio is off also.

So, I tried to convert them using TMPGEnc, (to Mpeg-2 for the DVD) everything is kool and the gang, and then when I go to test it out, the audio dosn't play (it creates an audio file though) I think it may have the something to do with the audio and whoever encoded it, because when I open it in Virtual Dub it has some crazy VBR- Re-Encode warning dialog.

Anyways, I know a way I could accomplish this, (I could re-encode it to high quality DivX, with Mp3 sound and then go to Mpeg-2 with that file and the audio appears to work that way)

But, I have two BIG files, and that requires two parts I first have to convert to high quality DivX, and then to Mpeg-2, isn't there an easier way?

Ok, if anyone can help, thank you.

If I don't get a response within like 4 hours I will just do it that other way.

(And I have included a Screenshot of the Information from Virtual Dub from the original file. Maybe it could help)

(Your video was encoded using the original DivX v.3.11alpha codec)

Converting .AVIs with VBR-MP3 Audio for use with TMPGEnc

Using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV

      1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)

      2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"

      3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"

      4) Save with a new filename
