Hello all,
I cannot get my Mpeg2 (DVD) to encode with out getting choppy when ever the encoder (i use TMPGenc PLUS) changes frames it seems. It is NOT like that on the original avi, divx or Xvid files. This happens when i try to convert all of those extensions. I will list my computer and software at the bottem. I downloaded afew other encoders and it does the same thing. My qustion is...if my AVI, Divx, or Xvid movie is 640x352 then when i encode that to Mpeg2 (TO burn to DVD) then do i have to change the original DVD Output from 740x480? I have NOT done that yet. f i do change it will i still be able to ply it and burn it on dvd? myabe that is my prob? and also...i notice that most of my AVI, Xvis or divx movies are usually 23 FPS and when I convert to DVD the output is 29 FPS? should i keep that the smae also? will it still Burn and play on my DVD player? Any help woudl be SO appreciated. hopefully one of the things i mentions is wrong and that is my problem...Here are my specs..
