Can anyone help? im trying to use the above program by cucusoft to convert an avi file to svcd but it comes up no codec available.I can play the movie with the divx player. Is there anything available to tell me exactly which codec i need?

A) 1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub
2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"
3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

Hey thanks 'setarip' used GSpot and found that i do indeed have a codec for the file installed but informed me the File header was damaged or faulty
Did some searching and found Divfix prog which repaired the header.Avi2vcd now opens and converts the file .
