    problems with xvid settings

Hi to everyone! I wish to use the xvid codec, but I had a problem with different films: after the 2-pass conversion with Flask Mpeg 0.78, I open the avi output and the objects in motion are corrupted by horizontal lines, while the others are clear and perfect. I think that it is a settings problem with the codec, but I have no idea of which they could be. Into the global settings I select: motion search precision = 5 very high, quantization type = MPEG for both the pass. The others settings are the defaults ones. The bitrate is high. This for a 2 hours film in 2 cd. I use win xp. Can someone help me? Thanx!

P.S.: Sorry for errors, but i am italian.

Use gordian knot for ur encoding
Download Gordian Knot for free. Gordian Knot started out as a simple bitrate calculator for DivX encoding but has evolved to become an integrated package or tool for the entire process of DivX/XviD encoding.
