I have several AVI files that are encoded w/the Xvid codec. I have no problem ripping the audio out into a *.wav file.
I use TMPGEnc to convert the avi & wav to vcd or svcd - that's no trouble there either.
My question is - I get stretched out video. I'll view the properties of the avi file and it'll be something like "width 544 pixels", "heigh 288 pixels"
I've converted using 1:1 VGA, 4:3, 16:9 - all are stretched out video's. Is there a tool somewhere that can tell me if the video is 4:3, 16:9 or whatever so I can adjust TMPGEnce correctly to keep the video in the original aspect? I've used the preview function, but no luck there either. So, what's up w/XVID....can anyone help me?
