    Gordian Knot works pretty well

Yesterday, I downloaded Gordian Knot and Auto Gordian Knot. Running Gordian Knot first, I was frustrated by all of the options and cancelled out of what may or may not have been a successful encode.

I then fired up Auto Gordian Knot and easily backed up a DVD (to Dix Pro 5.1.1). I figured it can't be that hard to use Gordian Knot, so a bit of searching came up with the following guide (from this site)
digital, digest, dvd, divx, dvdr, dvd+r, dvd-r, rip, copy, ripping, convert, backup, back, up, shrink, xvid, software, download, news, guide, article

I printed out, and thoroughly read the instructions. The first time through, it worked flawlessly. A well put together guide indeed.

If you download Gordian Knot, the Gordian Knot codec package and the guide att the address I listed, you should be able to rip and convert to Divs no problem.

    Tom

      hI !

I'm a newbie whith encoding and I have EXACTLY the same trouble whith...gordianknot 0.28.7 !

In fact, this is the only forum (and you're the only one) I know which talking about it. I feel less alone

The log say that everything's OK (the two passes happened) but there is no avi file anywhere. So, when nandub begins, it "cannot open avi file" just like the error message says !

Did you try it and what the matter ?
