Best DIVX encoding tools + guide?
hi all, i just want to know what tools you experts use to encode from dvd to divx. I search the net, including divx digest for guides, but there are so many encoding tools. i have been using flask for about 6 months now, and had no problems with it (i know, i know, its the slowest), because it was so easy to use. i would like to use virtualdub/mod, (i dont know if its the best tool) but all the guides i find tell me to download a million other programs. i just want a complete, step-by-step guide on getting the BEST and FASTEST divx 5.x encodings. thanks in advance.

if you want to do fast encodes you should use the nero recode2
it is able to output mpeg-4 compatible streams (like divx5 does), provides similar quality as divx5, but is MUCH faster
