    Lanczos or Bicubic Sharp?

    Hi all

I only just learned to use Gordian Knot thanks to Uncas's guide, but i wanted to know what the difference is between the 2 resize filters lanczos or bicubic sharp? and which gives better results?

lanczos produces sharper results than sharpbicubic, but therefore probably also more blocks when you have too low bitrates

therefore if you are going for a 1cd encode and have a hard to compress movie (very bright and/or long) use sharp bicubic or a filter below
      on the opposite use lanczos
