    Is this normal? (flask)

    Ok this is my first time ripping and converting a dvd to divx. I'm using this as my guide;
    DVD to DivX 4.x using FlasKMPEG Guide - FlasKMPEG 0.6 Preview

    I choose 2 pass first pass and let flask do it's thing. I let it sit for about 4 hours and it now says 100.001% completed but it's still doing something because it hasn't brought me back to the "control panel".
    Is this normal? Does it usually take a while to finish after it's finished? Windows task maner still shows the progrma is wotking. What should I do? I really don't want to have to start all over again considering I already have to do another pass.

    Thanks any help or comments welcome.

    Are u using flask0.6 preview without any mods or plugins ?
    If u are, flask will only load the first vob file.

    I suggest that u get the subtitles fix for flask 0.6, you can get it from here http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/do...flaskmpeg.html

      I'm using the css.mism plugin as well as the thunder.mism and of course the radium codec.

      I was also using winXP and I've gone back to win2k so I'll see if that helps at all.

        Using the css.mism plugin you are really asking for problems, you should definetly rip the movie to HD before converting. Also the the subtitles fix for flask0.6 offer the same functionality as the thunder.mism plugin, but the subtitles fix works much better.

          have you tried Xmpeg?

          it's a modified version of flask(6.0 preview), and much better...
          I wonder why so few people know it, everybody's allways talking about flask, wich development has stopped months ago...
