want to convert divx -> mpeg1/2 and KEEP file size

Hey guys, i have a large collection of south park episodes that i would like to put on dvd in mpeg1 or mpeg2 format. My problem is that when i try to convert from divx -> mpeg1 or mpeg2 the file size increases greatly.

For example...if i have a 30mb divx file and i use CCE to convert it to mpeg2 if i turn almost every possible setting down it still ends up 100mb.

Is there any way to get divx into mpeg1 or 2 and keep quality and maintain file size? Thanks!

You're simply dealing with different compression ratios - MPEG1s are typically twice the size of the same DivX-compressed .AVIs...

Not without unacceptably reducing the quality...

Also, I would consider checking out http://www.kvcd.net. The TMPGEnc templates there are excellent for getting the most out of MPEG-I/II while keeping the bitrate amazingly low.
