    Divx to DVD+R

OK ... simple question for you, guys !!!

I have a few Dvix I want to convert in DVD format.
What is the best simple tool to do that ?

P.S. : The only thing I would need to the ability to add chapters; but no need for menus, etc etc ...

    Thanks !!

    Follow this procedure:

    1. Convert the Dvix file(s) to a DVD compliant mpeg-2 file using "TMPGEnc" or "TMPGEnc Plus". Use the “Project Wizards” (NTSC or PAL) to help you accomplish the task.

    2. Then use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" (different than "TMPGEnc") to author the newly created mpeg-2 into a DVD-related file structure. (.IFO, .BUP, .VOB). As an alternative, you can use "DVDLab" to author as well.

    3. If the combined filesize of the project exceeds 4.37 Gig, use "DVD Shrink" or similar transcoding program to compress.

    4. Use "Nero" or similar burning program to burn onto a DVD (r, rw) disk.

Another alternative is to use DVD2SVCD with either TMPGEnc or CCE as the encoder. Converts AVI to DVD the quickest way and even authors the final files to a VIDEO_TS folder ready to burn.

D.I.K.O. is another program that automates the whole process but uses CCE only for the encoding. Produces a VIDEO_TS folder ready to burn.

        Thanks, Guys !
Is TMPGEnc able to create directly the VIDEO_TS directory ?

If yes, then I can use DVDShrink to reduce the size if necessary !

        ?

"Is TMPGEnc able to create directly the VIDEO_TS directory ?"

"TMPGEnc DVD Author" (different than TMPGEnc) can create the VIDEO_TS directory.
