    Max Keyframe Interval question

Hi all, i just want to know if changes to the keyframe interval in mpeg-4 codecs (xvid/divx) degrades the quality or affects the output in any way, apart from reduced "seeking" times. I would prefer to set it to a low value, probably 50 to 100, although i know the recommended is 250 for PAL.

    anyone got an answer?

    thanks

I would link you to a long thread @ Doom9's, but unfortunately its down...

    Short answer:

In 2Pass mode, a too low key-frame interval could degrade the quality !!!

    Bye
