Extract language from idx and sub

Hi.

I have a idx-file and a sub-fil containing the subtitles for a movie.

The subtitles contains several languages which means the sub file is HUGE...

Does anyone know of a tool that can extract a single language from those files ?

I want it to create a new idx/sub file only containing the chosen language .....

I know I can use a tool like subrip, and create a srt file, but..H. HEY... Im lazy so I'd really like to know if such a extractor tool exists...
