xvid Question

i have dawn of the dead xvid and im converting it to dvd with cucosoft video converter. when its done i just burn image to disk with nero? becase theres no video and audio ts folders just one file when its done converting.

2) is there a program to convert your video to widescreen 16:9, a free one? if theres a free or not free let me know

Look at the file extension. It probably is a mpeg file. If it is you have to use a program like Tmpgenc dvd Author to make the compliant dvd files.

Why would you want to first convert to XviD the "Dawn of the Dead" DVD that you own - and then convert the XviD BACK to DVD?

Use DVD Shhrink to make a backup copy of your original purchased commercial DVD...
