    Problem with audio

I have this divx-file i need to convert, and it works in normal videplayers and so, but when i open it with virtualdub/videolan etc, it says something about improper vbr encoding and that that will cause desynchronisation, but its not playing any sound at all. When i try to export a wav file from the divxfile and open it in winamp, winamp says i dont have a codec for that file.

Gspot says i have the codec (coreAAC), and when i try to render the file in gspot it says that my computer can open it fine.

    Someone?

Converting .AVIs with VBR-MP3 Audio for use with TMPGEnc

Using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV

    1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)

    2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"

    3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"

    4) From the "File" dropdown menu, save .AVI with a new filename

      1. That doesn't work, and the audio in the divx-file is AAC not MP3

      2. It says: "No audio decompressor found"

From a simple Googlesearch for "AAC to MP3":

Convert AAC to MP3 You can use ImTOO CD Ripper to convert AAC file
to mp3 and play them in most mp3 or DVD player.
