I am using PowerDVD to playback XVID video, but unlike playback MPEG1 & MPEG2 video, PowerDVD can't display the bitrate of the playing video.
The problem triggered me to concern bitrate on particular video was some of my XVID video occasionally can't playback smoothly over my 802.11g (54M) wireless LAN, but no problem on 100M wired connection.
Since I want to have best possible quality XVID coded video, while hoping to playback it back in bedroom over the wireless LAN. But, in some particular scenes, it seems to me 802.11g can't support the peak bitrate. So, I am think about to re-encode those videos, but can't find the best possible bitrate value.
Is there any tools can display the bitrate of a XVID coded video?
