what programe can I use to convert divx avi to mpg4

Hi there i downloaded the TMPGEnc DVD Author and had some mpg's on my computer but really would like to know what program can i use to convert divx avi files to mpg4 so that way the TMPGEnc DVD Author can handle them and i can use that program for the files it was ment for.

I use Mainconcept for speed, quality, and ease of use. Another excellent program, Tmpgenc Plus (different than Tmpgenc dvd author). For ease of use use the dvd template (in whatever program you choose). There are other encoding programs but these two are popular. After making the compliant dvd mpeg2 file then use Tmpgenc dvd author (my favorite) or your favorite authoring program to make the compliant dvd files.
