Hi all,
I just recently bought a digital tv card meaning i can receive free digital and High Definition content on my computer.
The content is captured to mpeg-2 files, with resolutions of 1440*1088 and above. (AWESOME QUALITY, THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN). my problem is, that when i convert to xvid, i cannot seem to preserve the 'fluidity' or 'smoothness' of the original video.
the original captured format is: mpeg-2, minimum 1440 res, 25fps PAL, interlaced
I encode with gordian knot 0.32b... i have tried leaving it interlaced, as well as several de-interlacing methods, and cannot seem to keep the smoothness of the original
anyone?
