    Convert mpeg-4 to dvd

Hi! Does anyone know how I can convert an mpeg-4 file back to dvd format? I have tried Nero Recode 2, Dvd-lab andTMPGenc, all without success. I also tried Imtoo MPEG encoder. It created a file, but without sound. Is there a prog that will do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are referring to DivX or XviD-compressed .AVI files:

    1) Load the original video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

The audio is in .AC3 format. Assuming you have an .AC3 filter/codec installed on your system:

In TMPGEnc, under the "Environmental Settings" "VFAPI plugin" tab rightclick on the "Direct Show Multimedia Reader" and increase to one greater than the highest priority of listed items. This will enable TMPGEnc to accept a properly encoded .AVI with .AC3 audio for input...
