Extract AC3 Audio from DivX and encode to WAV?

Hey,

I'm trying to make a DivX with AC3 sound into a VCD. But, of course, TMPGenc, what I use, cannot read the audio.. soooo.. i need to extract the audio from the DivX file so I can convert it to WAV.

I'm unsure how to do this, so any help would be much appreciated.

Use either of the two AC3-modified versions of VirtualDub to extract the AC3 stream as follows:

Load the .AVI/.AC3 file
From the 'File" dropdown menu, select "Save as WAV/AC3" - IMPORTANT-Make certain to use the .AC3 extender as part of the save as filename.

Load the extracted .AC3 file (which, by the way, WILL NOT play properly at this stage) into AC3PX3Converter and save as WAV.
