Div3 with WMA V2 has no sound in VCD

Hello,

I have an AVI file for which AVIcodec says the video is DIV3
and the audio codec is Windows Media Audi V2

I am trying to encode it as a VCD using TMPEGen. The resulting file has the video but no audio.

searcjing the web I found a fwe similar post but nothing seems to me working for me. For instance I am unable to load the avi file into VirtualDub to try to demux the video and audio.

Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you're simply lacking the required audio codec.

EXACTLY what happens when you try to load the original DivX-compressed .AVI into VirtualDub?
