I have been using Flaskmpeg 0.594 to convert my evangelion dvd's but in this version the player is to simple and can't define exactly the start and the end point of the movie, the 0.60 version solve this but if there's something that I loved of the flaskmpeg 0.594 it's the deinterlace filter that in the v0.60 sucks mainly in anime movies (horizontal lines everywhere in action scenes). Exist any solution to this, any other program or version of flakmpeg with a decent deinterlace and player?

Yes. Ditch Flask for another, like DVD2AVI frameserving to Virtualdub/nandub. My early experiences using Flask, trying to encode some Vision of Escaflowne episodes, never yielded anything satisfactory. Later on, I tried using Flask as a frameserver to Vdub and it really screws up interlace problems. No amount of deinterlacing filters would get rid of them, which basically means that Flask makes interlaced movies virtually (or nearly) impossible to remove.any other program or version of flakmpeg with a decent deinterlace and player? -
