I want to piece together a bit of video for the web that will use media playeras the default player.
Here's where I'm at....
Either using a program called "AoA DVD ripper" which seems to do everything from the rip to the conversion to AVI and I like the sound of that.
Or,
Use Dr DIVX which will take my DVD shrink output files and convert to AVI.
Both of these programs seem well suited for newbies and user friendly.
It seems to me, that the first choice is a more efficient use of time and software?
Any opinion?
A few additional questions.....
**Is AVI currently the preferred format for a media player movie? Is it more popular than WMV?
**AVI is the DIVX file extension, right?
Thanks very much.
