How to convert 29970 fps avi to 23976

Hi,

I have an xvid avi source created in 29970 FPS and MP3 audio in perfect sync. I want to convert it to 23976 with same audio but do not want to loose out on anything....i.e. audio sync, Quality etc.

How do I go about doing that.

is there a reason you wish to do this? framrate does not usually matter when it comes to avi files.

but, here is a method: use virtualdubmod to re-encode the video with a codec of your choice (i recommend xvid). under "video", click "framerate". type in the framerate you would like to change it to.

for audio, i recommend you download & install "besweet". convert the audio to a format of your choice. you must specify what framerate you are converting from and to.
