xVid to DVD convert problem: no audio

    Hi all

I am trying to convert an xVid file into DVD format. I have used many different tools which I think should be able to handle this, but in all cases when I play the DVD I burn, there is no audio.

    Some details:
    - attached is a screenshot of Gspot for the xVid file
    - the files which get outputted from the conversion process have nothing in the AUDIO_TS folder
    - apps I have tried include Ulead DVD Movie Factory 4, Adobe Premier Elements, Ulead DVD Workshop 2, TMPEnc Xpress 3

Can anyone give me some pointers as to what I am doing wrong, or what I have missed? Feel free to reply with questions for more info about my issue - I am not sure what is relevant so have only described the problem as above!

    Many thanks for any advice.

tag 2000 means ac3 audio. install the ac3 acm compressor and i suggest tmpgenc to convert. play back the file on your pc from the vob files in the VIDEO TS folder before you burn anything, the audio ts folder is supposed to be empty.

yep ac-3 audio. Get the newest version of Gspot. It will allow you to render the video/audio separately or together. also has a playback window
