how to download & save .rm file

hi sorry if this is posted in the wrong section.
but i this site, which broadcasts, .ram files
when you click on the link, it opens real player and i can watch it.
but how do i save this file, and convert it into say .avi so i can then get it into vcd or dvd.

well i had a look for shoutbox, and it saying its illegal to download, plus the link only works if your a registered afterdawn member.

i couldnt find rm convertor, so have you got a lnk for that please

oops guys i think i havent put my question correctly,
the thing is i cant save the .rm file in the first place.
there is no save function so what do i do.
and i think the file is .ram now not .rm

i see, ty for being clear. you want to copy and save then convert a rm file from the internet? i don't know how, and don't think you should be doing it... maybe someone will correct me, i don't know.

well, its my friends site, and lives on the other side of the world, this is the only method he know at the moment, of streaming the video,
hmm, hopefully something will come up,
what format should i tell him to stream the file in, so i could save it.

As I told u earlier, why don't u try STREAMBOX-VCR ? Registration at afterdawn is free.

but whats the point of registering at afterdawn, when there should be plenty other links for it on google.
the resson i cant be bothered registering is, i dont want any like junkmail and want to create so many accounts because i wont eb able to remeber passwords nad suer names.
registering at afterdawn is a long way round the problem.
google should help me out,

There is an easy way to capture sound files.Connect a stereo jack from the LINE OUT(that goes to desktop speakers) to the LINE IN of ur PC, or better still to LINE IN of ur TV Tuner card(if u have one).Now start recording as it plays.However this will not work for video files.
