Convert oceans eleven to vcd ?#!

HELP !!

No I'finally can convert simple divx movies to vcd I got the next problem.
When I'm trying to convert Oceans Eleven the film is OK but the sound doesn't want to. Sometimes it remains quiet or the audio is turning crazy.
It's 5 way stereo (is that possible) ?

Can anybody help me ??

I'm using TMPEG.

1) Does the audio of the original DivX-compressed .AVI play properly for the entire video?

2) What is the format of the original file's audio? (To determine this, load the .AVI into VirtualDub. From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information". Post everything listed)

3) Which version of TMPGEnc are you using?

4) What settings are you using for TMPGEnc?

Just a little bit of info that may prove helpful :
Do not install divx 5.0--it causes TMPGEnc to malfunction. If you have installed it, uninstall it. Revert to divx 3.11 alpha, and if neccesary divx 4.x however decline any offer for the later to play divx 3.11a encoded media.

When I play the divx movie on the windows media player it plays perfect, sound also.

Follow the above advice, and upgrade to the latest version.

That's .AC3 audio, so I'm surprised your getting any sound at all with TMPGEnc. I'd suggest that you extract the .AC3 file and convert it to a .WAV file as follows:

1) Load the .AVI file into VDUB1.4C-AC3.

2) Set "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying" and select (under "File") "Save .WAV/.AC3" - and save as .AC3 (IMPERATIVE to save as .AC3! - .WAV does NOT save properly).

3) Then set "Audio" to "No audio" and save a silent .AVI with a new filename.

4) Load the .AC3 into PX3AC3Converter and convert to .WAV format - IMPORTANT - Despite the fact that .AC3 file extracted using VDub-AC3 doesn't play properly, PX3AC3Converter will do a perfect job of converting it to .WAV format.

5) TMPGEnc should be deliighted to accept and process the silent .AVI coupled with the .WAV file.

PX3AC3Converter ?

So, I did what you said :
I expand the audio to AC3 and saved the film without audio to AVI format (movie).
But where can I finf this "PX3AC3Converter" ? Its probably somewhere to download but I couldn't find it.

So far so good I think.
(I tried TMPGenc with the AC3 sound but the sound comes out in blocks through the speakers).
