    Joining problem with VirtualDub

Im trying to join two AVI files (DivX) with VirtualDub.
The process works fine, with no error messages, but the result file has a problem. Audio is playing about 0,5 sec earlier on the secod half of the movie (corresponding to the second file). The first half is fine.

    Additional information:

    - Both original files have gone through the process of saving WAV... and saving a new AVI file, because original audio streams were different.
    - The original files are perfect. No audio displacement problems at all.
    - Tried AVI Join... same problem.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!!

you could try to compensate by audio skew correction. i don't see why it wouldn't work.

from the "audio" dropdown menu, select "interleaving" under "audio skew correction", set the appropriate number of milleseconds (positive or negative) in the box labelled "delay audio track by".

BTW, this project not going on dvd?
