Help with Audio. Pleeeeaaase...

MAybe someone can help me out. I am using Smartripper. then DV2AVI, then TMPGenc. for the final. But my audio is a little behind my video in the final output. How can I change this?. And does anyone know how I can select which audio language file to be used using theses three programs??

Virtualdub (read guides at divx-digest.com) or synchronizer (manually adjust audio video framerate---backup movie before experimenting).

try to decrease the frame rate or make sure that the audio is 44100Hz in TMPGENC.

Audio File Selection

Thanx alot Batman and techno for your help on my first problem. Unfortunatly he second part of the question went unanswered. Does anyone know how I can choose which language audio file to rip along with the video part of the dvd? I am using Smart Ripper, then DVD2AVI, TMPGEnc.
I would like to be able to choose other languages rather than just english. My wife and I speak both English and German. All the help would be apprecitated..

If the audio is a different language on the DVDROM, I think u should use vob2audio to extract the audio.

Do you want to have the final result as VCD or SVCD? If you want it as SVCD you can try DVD2SVCD. It's rather easy to use.
You can find the program on www.doom9.org and there you can also find a guide to it... I suggest you using CCE instead of TMPG in that case... much faster to use... It's just one problem it's only demo and it'll put a picture in the movie...
it can be solved but it's not allowed to talk about that in hear.

Nobody seems to want to answer your question so, although I don't use the specific software suite that you've chosen, I'd suggest that you determine how to select among the avialable audiostreams while you're in DVD2AVI.

Just thought Id say thanx to the ones who helped me out.
Iam now useing SmartRipper to rip the movie, then I use Vob2Audio to choose the language file, then DVD"AVI forthe video file, then TMPGEnc for the final cut. Then I am using the TMPGEnc again in order to split the final into two files which will each fit on one cd. The outcome is outstanding. The soudn moves with the picture perfect and the picture quality is unbeatable and is covering the entire tv screen. Too bad theres not a single program that does all this alone.. I suppoes it will come sooner or later..

I belive that you can use DVD2SVCD if you want an SVCD or DVDx if you want an VCD. I'm never tried DVDx but it should work.
