Have you played these two "problem" files under Winodws Media Player? Do they play properly, all the way through?

Can you open the file in virtualdub?

Maybe part of the stream/video is corrupted.

Try scanning through the frames in virtualdub (if it opens it).

Try to use the DIVFIX utility (www.divx-digest.com/software)

well, u never said it was an MPEG file!

how about encoding it in TMPGENC as MPEG1 or MPEG2 then to nandub by making a project file if MPEG2?

It's a mpeg1 file that seem to play properly but I haven't seen the complete episode. May it work if I convert to mpeg in TMPG without loss of quality? Because it's not very good now and I don't want loss of quality.

This makes no sense. What MPEG format would you convert it to, if it's already in MPEG1 format - and why?

Also, how did you determine that it is an MPEG1 (and NOT MPEG2) file?

I agree that I put the question bad=)

I mean that if I use TMPG do redo the mpeg.. Like do a mpeg one out of the mpeg 1... hard to explain what I mean=) hope you understand... like fixing the allready excisting mpeg...
and see if I can convert it then. That's what I meant.

Is fun to know before you waist many hours of your time. That's why I asked. And I'm never using TMPG so some settings would be good to know. I know that you can choose MPEG1 and MPEG1 - videocd. What's the difference?
