Converted .avi to mpeg now what??

I used mainconcept encoder to convert my .avi to dvd. It converted fine and is about 4.4 gigs now which should fit on a 4.7gig dvd right? Well now how to I go about burning it so it will play on my standalone dvd player. I have nero. Im looking for the steps of how i take that converted file, open in nero and burn it dvd style.

paglamon is right, if this is an mpeg-2 file you need to author it. i also suggest tmpgenc dvd author. full 30 day free trial

Is it not the same as the one I named?I thought that the one I named is the most recent version from Pegasys.

you said "tsunami dvd author". no pro in there

i thought the one you were refering was the same as me, as the "T" in TMPGEnc stands for "tsunami". doesn't matter though as either one will work the same. the pro version only has a few newer features (but good ones)
