Adobe Premier DVD cant be copied?

Hi. I created a DVD using Adobe Premier. It works fine both in my computer and my DVD player. BUT, when I try to copy the disk with Nero, Nero says it has a "disk read error" and can't create the image. I've tried a variety of tools including DvdShrink and they all have that same problem?

Has anyone else seen this? Is there a fix or setting in Adobe Premier that I'm not seeing?

Any advice is appreciated.

if it works on your dvd player, then it's a burning and blank media issue

did you burn the original disk with nero?

I burned it using Adobe Premier Elements DVD buring functionality directly to the DVD.

I'm having Premier burn to a folder right now, and then I'm going to try using DVDShrink with Nero to burn the DVD and see if that works. Then copying might work, or burning multiple copies shhyould at least be easier.

well with nero we will get a burn log and can analyze the problem better

As Chewy already mentioned, if your DVD plays OK with standalone DVD player and PC DVD drive and can't be ripped to PC with DVD Shrink, it seems that you have media problem. Please use better media such as Taiyo Yuden or Virbatim for better backups

Well, interesting thoughts. I appreciate the help. Here is how it all turned out.

The summary is, Nero handled everything fine as did DVDShrink when I used Adobe Premiere to export the the video files to the hard drive rather than the dvd disk. The problem appears to be something to do with the Adobe Premier software. I did not change media brands along the way, so I doubt that is related to this particular problem.

Here's what I did that worked.
1. Using the exact same Adobe Premier project, I had Premier "export" the video files to a hard drive folder. Premier uses the same "burn" dialogs to do that, and creates the Video files.

2. I used DvdShrink to open the video files, and had it directly burn a dvd using Nero. That worked fine.

3. I used DvdShrink to create and ISO image file. Then I used Nero Express to burn the image to the dvd. this worked fine too.

4. Lastly, just for the heck of it, I used DvdShrink with one of the disks I created. It read it all fine this time.

what ver of the software were you running of adobe.
i have to update my software anyways. Ill see if i can dup your error, then ill beat it and tell you how.

It installs as "Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0" and the Product Version on the program file also says "2.0.0.0".

It would be great if you can figure out this nuisance.
