Xmpeg & Divx 5.01 Problems!!!

I am new to divx encoding. I tried with flaskmpeg but with no success. Now i am trying with Xmpeg. When choosing the video codec (i.e divx 5.01) i am not able to find any codec's installed in Xmpeg at all. The drop down list is empty. I have tried uninstalling the codec and reinstalling the codec again, but no luck. What am i doing wrong? Please help.
