Set video to Direct Stream Copy, instead of Full Processing Mode.

the cutting doesnt seem to have any effect, when i save the file, its still the same!

this is what i do: i open the avi file in nandub, i select direct stream copy for both video and audio, the i do "mark in" at the beginning of the movie, the i move with the arrow keys to the last fram i wanna cut out, and i do "mark out"....
the i save the file by pressing "Save AVI" nandub will then save it... but its the same file size and the part i wanted to cut out is still in it

am i doing something wrong here?

          thx

could the problem be that i am not cutting it at an keyframe? if i do cut it at an keyframe i miss a small part of something i dont want to cut...

it seems to work fine when i do cut at a keyframe... but then im removing the credits and the sound... i dont really want that...

is there any solution so i will be able to cut the movie not at an keyframe?

            thx again guys

For basic operations like cutting you should better use virtualdub. nandub has much more options and so you can make more mistakes.

              - open video
              - set video to "direct stream copy"
              - set audio to "direct stream copy"
              - save as AVI

Normally it should work also with nandub.

If you want to cut the video anywhere else than at an keyframe you will have to recompress at least a part of the video.
