Well. I have recently been putting avi., mpeg, etc. files on to a DATA DVD and then watching them using my DVD player that supports divx, avi, mpeg, etc. Anyhow, I just tried using a DVD-RW so that I can re-write it when I am finished watching the movie clips, and the max. burn speed as 2X and the video playback just seemed to be slowish/stuttery. Without sounding like an idiot, is it fair to assume that the lower the write speed the slower the video file is going to sort of "playback". I mean I have written stuff at like 16X on a normal DVD+R and it looked fine. If I write at a higher speed, do they actually run or playback faster or is it my eyes playing tricks?
