i cant crop on virtualdub i get a file like in the picture any one knows this problem? i cant work because of this i use "DivX MPEG-4 Fast-Motion"
that is the only codec vidrualdub lets me use i can edit videos and outpot is fine the problem is just with crop

under the video tab click on filters>add>then add the "null transform" filter
this will allow you to crop the video
choose your encoder and setttings
I prefer xvid over divx to re-encode
save your cropped video

fromisrael, some politeness wouldn't go astray.

Either crop to a mod16 (or at least mod4) resolution or resize to one.
