Help With Converting DVD to AVI

Hey Guys,

I have been converting for sometime now...
However, I have been having the following problems with my results as of late

When I convert a movie to divx/xvid using either No#1 XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX...
The Avi Files quality is great but at different moments throughout the movie
there is a Choppy like movement or some would like to say skipping
to the next frame...
The movie can be moving fine, then it would just take a jump to the next step if a character is walking super fast...I hope I'm explaining this correctly...

Can anyone help me?

I have uninstalled both Xvid and Divx Codecs and DVD ripping programs..
I have rebooted and reinstalled all software....

Please help me...this problem is getting ridiculous and tire some...

I would try this web site, the authur makes some nice package programs for DivX and Xvid. His programs have always worked well for me and they are freeware.

I'll look into that..but anyone with a Resolution as to why this happening

try different players to see that same prblm is there in all players.otherwise it will due to some decoder conflicts

converting mpeg2 to avi is fine, ripping protected movies is not
