    DivX -> SVCD without jiggering...

    Hi all!
    I've got a HUGE problem!

    When i convert (most of my movies) the result comes out jiggering if someone knows what i mean by that?!

    I use TmpgEnc Plus, and first i use Virutal Dub to get the sound ripped out from the movie. Nothing helps! The movies is DVD DivX AVI format. Must be some sort of adjustment thingy in TmpgEnc or am i wrong?

    It's SO disturbing to watch a movie that's jiggering i think! There must be a way around this?!

    Regards:

      If the DivX movie is made with DivX 5.x it might be the problem, cause tmpg can't handle divx 5.x

          i have the same problem and use the same progs as you.

          are there any other progs out there that can do the same as TmpgEnc Plus divx -> mpeg2.

            You can try DVD2SVCD (it was originally made to convert from DVD to SVCD but recently has added support for avi input also). Get it at www.doom9.org. You can use either cce or tmpge as your encoder.
