Hi to everyone and with kind regards to Cynthia, Blutach, UncasMS, Lt.Colombo and jmet.
I'm having a strange out of sync problem doing desktop recording with River Past Screen Recorder.Would like to keep lame 3.98.2 and XVid 1.2.1. when possible.
audio encoder settings:
44.1Khz
Stereo
128kbps
CBR
i.m. don't seem to have a possibility to change to VBR though .
video encoder settings:
Xvid MPEG4 Codec v1.2.1 final
quality: 95
profile @ level: advanced simple @L4
single pass
quality preset: real-time
target quantizer: 1.00 (max.quality)
taret bitrate: 2016kbps
on-screen record settings:
resolution: 591x372 (set specific onscreen-region)
Max.Speed 23.00
problem:
The video and sound have good quality as expected but are slightly but noticible out of sync.
greets and thanks for any help
Diego
Edit:
It seems like my system wasn't fast enough to handle the direct live encoding.Changed to losseless, uncompressed recording with Huffyuv codec first and re-encoded finaly with Xvid and the above settings.Much better sync results.
