Please help this newbie

Hi, I am new at dvd ripping and I have trouble at it already.

I am trying to rip some japanimation dvds that have options for english subtitles on it. I have followed all the guides on this forums and everywhere else and can't get it to work right.

My problems:

Using DVDx 2.0 : the divx rip file has the english subtitles but the quality of the movie is low. I don't know how to make the quality better, I even try changing the bitrate and others.

Using FlaskMpeg : Great movie quality, but there is no english subtitle. I don't know how to get this to work.

Please help!!! Thanks

Using Flask0.6 with the subtitles fix you should be able to get the subs.

Your other option would be to use external subs, with vobsub.

I suggest that you go with the little harder way to encoding, it's definetly worth it. Trust me=)

That's funny. I've never had any trouble getting the subtitles displayed when using Flask (0.594 that is).
