    Quiet DivX Sound

I use AC3Filter that comes with Divx Player.

I upped all the master sound and is still quiet as a mouse. I maxed the divx volume control, my laptop and headphones and its just within hearing distance. Does anyone know how to make it sound louder?

When i use my windows media player its about the same.

any suggestions besides "go to ac3filter and turn it up"?

I would use Media Player Classic HC (Media Player Classic HomeCinema Edition 1.5.2.3423 Beta | Software - Digital Digest), and use the built-in audio normalizer (right click on playback screen -> options -> Internal Filter: Audio Switcher -> check the "Enable built-in audio switcher filter" if not checked (restart MPC-HC as instructed), and play around with the "normalize" (which evens out the peaks and troughs in audio, common with AC3 audio designed for greater audio performance in home cinema setups, versus PC audio), and the "Boost" controls.

Of course, this assumes you've got the filter to allow MPC-HC to play your file, but if it plays in Windows Media Player, I think it should play in MPC-HC.
