Hi all!
In my attempt to minimize quality loss from the use of an overlay watermark, I've restricted overlay use to one part of the video by encoding multiple segments using XviD and then appending them together.
I've noticed that each time the exact same frames are encoded, the resulting file sizes vary and sometimes a frame will be missing while other times all the frames will be present.
I was wondering if this is due to the nature of XviD or if it's due to a bug in VirtualDubMod or the codec.
Also, would there happen to be such a thing as a lossless watermark method or is that just wishful thinking?
Thanks!
