Can someone please help me. I am really new to backing up DVDs to VCDs. I am trying to download TMPGenc but am getting a "Bad zip file". Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong or give me a site where I can download a good version of this programme.

It should work fine. And if you want help on converting to VCD go to www.vcdhelp.com.

That is the site I got the bad zip file from. Also, I did search the forum but couldn't find anything about a bad tmpgenc zip file.

I have since found a different version of TMPGenc which unzipped OK but I haven't tried it yet.

Then you should try it first and see whether you are still running into problems.
