Best Program(s) To Use For DVDRips?

I'm not asking for www.vcdhelp.com, I'm asking (if anyone knows) what programs specifically warez groups (ViTE, DOMiNiON, etc.) use when they release "DVDRips.DivX". The quality seems much better than the ones that I make.

For beginners, I recommend FlaskMpeg, but if you are good at video editing, I HIGHLY recommend Gordian Knot. You will get better rips than dominion or vite if you use Gordian Knot.

Never use flask as the quality is poor and also tons of bugs

but it only latsted me for one DVD-rip
which i didnt keep coz it was POOR
but thanks to ppl
i found out about Nandub

Keep Flask only when you absolutely need to parse .ifo files from a multi-angle disc and the audio cannot be extracted using any other methods. It finds its use here.

I had a bad experience with certain multi-angle DVDs. Normal rip methods would not work and then, Flask came and saved my "project' from failure. Result is not perfect (as you would know), but it's better than nothing.

Beware of the FlaskMPEG version you are using, the only one that works certainly well is FlaskMPEG XiS 3.0e with thunder.mism

All the other pretty suck to the point of not working at all.
(including some XMPEG versions)

I made 10 rips with it with no problems......but of course, switch to Gknot once you get tired of not being able to control the output size

OK, heres what i use...

If you the easy way, and still get the very best quality,then you need just two programz. First you need TMPGEnc,and then you need DVD2SVCD. Once you have both of these, then just slip the DVD in the player,and startup DVD2SVCD, its REALLY easy, and you will end up with a Super quality SVCD. Depending on your CPU, the time of conversion will vary. It usually takes me about 5 hours with my 1800XP AMD.
