Well Gknot is somewhat an "all-in-one". But its obviously made by somebody wise.
sorry young padawan, u have much to learn. if they was no vbud and nandub and dvd2avi they GKnot would not be what is 2 day. i see it as a gui 4 these appz thats adds more functioality and convience.
in time young padawan the force will grow with experience
Yeah, all-in-ones are so inflexible. Even GKnot can be a tad restrictive, which is why I only use it as an advanced bitrate calculator, although I do use it to create the .avs file as well
All-in-ones are good for newbies though, which is why I suggested Vidomi. It works well enough for most.

Although i would prefer for it to make it a wav and then compress it with some other codec. I dont know which MP3 encoder is better, LAME, Fraunhofder, or that other one, though.
I think, almost everyone agree that lame is the best mp3 encoder, although it's name indicates otherwise....

what I meant by "all-in-one" is that it does everything for you (editing avs files, running the programs, setting the codec etc)
I by no means said that GKont "does" everything, it just "does" everything, know what I mean?
