    Well Gknot is somewhat an "all-in-one". But its obviously made by somebody wise.
    sorry young padawan, u have much to learn. if they was no vbud and nandub and dvd2avi they GKnot would not be what is 2 day. i see it as a gui 4 these appz thats adds more functioality and convience.

    in time young padawan the force will grow with experience

      Yeah, all-in-ones are so inflexible. Even GKnot can be a tad restrictive, which is why I only use it as an advanced bitrate calculator, although I do use it to create the .avs file as well

      All-in-ones are good for newbies though, which is why I suggested Vidomi. It works well enough for most.

        I think, almost everyone agree that lame is the best mp3 encoder, although it's name indicates otherwise....

          what I meant by "all-in-one" is that it does everything for you (editing avs files, running the programs, setting the codec etc)
          I by no means said that GKont "does" everything, it just "does" everything, know what I mean?
