Are you using fast deinterlace ?

Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

what is line 43 of your avs file ?

also, are you sharing the file you're trying to encode ? because VirtualDub can't always open a file used by another application.

        Im sooo stupid
Thanks khp, I had already done a system restore bc avisynth is places in the wndows folder and all. I deleted Gknot, and reinstalled. I was afraid i had to reformat this bitch for the 5th time this year.
Thats what did it, and its the other reason I want to reencode, its because it was interlaced. But from what yu guys are saying, deinterlacing wont work, i have to perform IVTC in my case.
I see that theres is an inverse telecine option when you edit the avs file.
I saw more than one person around here say that they didnt know how to do IVTC in GKnot, so if anybody knows how, please tell!
If not, any other way to IVTC this file would be useful.

Update: I found a guide by Doom9 that uses TMPG to do IVTC, and it does it sorta wrong, some parts of the movie get IVTC´d and others dont. I didnt understand the part where Doom9 explained how to solve that. But, TMPG cant save as an avs file. What do I do now?

There must be another way to IVTC this. Im also afraid that if i do it with tmpg, since the telecining changes, i might lose some frames and when i mux the audio there qill be synch probs.
