When recoding an avi or ripped DVD with Nero 7, the video ipod cannot use the file (even though Quicktime can play it). After conversion by iTunes, the audio will remain, but there is no video.
Shouldn't the mp4 that Nero produces be suitable for the iPod as is? Do I need to set some of the burn options to accomodate a conversion.
I've reduced the size to 240 x 320. I checked the box that says make it Quicktime compatible that doesn't seem to stay checked.
