Divx movie freezing in standalone player?

    Hello all..
I have Pioneer DV 585A-K standalone player, and for now this player working perfect.
Somethimes, when I make ff or fwd , i loose subtitles (subtitles apear after 5-6 min. again), but that is OK for me.

Anw, for the first time I cannot play one dvix movie (for now..).
Picture freezing every couple sec...Subtitles and audio is OK..

I try fix that divx movie (MP3 freezing-checking bad frames,Gspot show me just ordinary codecs), but without any results..
My friend have another type standalone player, and he have same problem.

And, that movie works fine in computer with Bsplayer, or crystal player,wmp....

    Thx. for your answer

Hi and welcome to the forum

Usually playback problems are due to a bad burned media.

What discs are you using exactly? What burner do you have? What firmware?

You can find all these informations with cd-dvd speed

I must make a confession I had some free time, and i want give a try for new encoding

I's not much to tell, but..that "tutorial" about encoding etc. help..really
I make only different in encoding-codec.
Old *avi was encoded with xvid, my with divX 6.0 pro..
I took same bitrate for video and audio. Results is just perfect. No freezing,no "jumping" frames..

One more time, thx. for the tips
